Dear Glasscock Community,

As the situation regarding COVID-19 continues to evolve, so has our response in accordance with recommendations from national and local health authorities. In this, we want to provide timely, transparent communication to you in regard to how the Glasscock School is addressing the situation. As it has become more clear that social distancing is our best course of action in containing COVID-19, the Glasscock School has decided to take the following actions:

Classes
For the remainder of the spring, we will be suspending all face-to-face instruction and will move to virtual learning environments. There will be some course rescheduling and cancellations. Please keep a close eye on your inbox for more detailed information from your program directors. We plan to resume normal class operations in the summer, pending public health guidance.

Events
Through April 30th, we are suspending or postponing all events at the Anderson-Clarke Center. All previously scheduled face-to-face information sessions will be held online.

As further updates are made available, we will communicate those to you. Our first responsibility is everyone’s health and safety. Our second is to continue to provide you with the Rice-quality education that allows you to pursue your personal and professional ambitions. This situation does not stop those goals, but instead heightens our awareness of both. In the meantime, we urge you to follow personal hygiene precautions and exercise social distancing measures as recommended by CDC and local health authorities.
